Friends, today we will talk about the choice between laptop and desktop computer.  Before we talk more about this, we need to understand what is the fundamental difference between laptop and desktop.  The desktop, as the name implies, is the kind of computer that we use mainly by placing it on top of a table.  Different components in this computer such as monitor, CPU, keyboard, mouse, cooling fan are different from each other.

On the other hand, if we talk about laptops, then the components are together in it.   There is also a battery inside the laptop so that even if there is a sudden power cut while working in the laptop, the laptop will not turn off immediately.  Laptops are much smaller than desktops and can be easily moved from one place to another.   Therefore, laptops are a very good option for those who have to go to a lot of places to do their work.

When laptops started to be made, there was not much power in it. In the beginning, laptops were mainly used for office work. Tasks like file editing, document editing from laptops were initially done. Over time, there were many changes in the laptop design. The quality of laptops increased with every technological generation. At present, the capacity of laptops has become so high that except for some demanding tasks, laptops are right for their daily work.

 Different laptops have different processing power determined by their CPU. Those who have to do basic officer work or text processing can also get a classroom laptop at a lower price by using ordinary power CPU. For those who want to run graphics design or science simulations, laptops with very powerful processors are fine.

Some laptops also come in 12-inch, some 13-inch,   some  15-inch  and some  17-inch display sizes. The weight of the laptop also changes according to these sizes. Expensive laptops also use carbon fiber to keep their weight low and strong.

But let’s talk about the desktop, because all the components are different, so whoever takes the desktop, most of his work is in one place. Desktop I CPU, cooling fan, graphic card, power live in a box.  The desktop monitor is installed separately.  Because there is no battery in the desktop, if the power suddenly goes out, the disturbance is turned off immediately. To avoid this problem, most people buy a UPS that gives a backup of  15 to 20 minutes, so the laptop will not suddenly turn off when the power goes out. We also have to put many wires outside the box in which the components can be installed above, such as keyboard wire, mouse wire, monitor wire, etc.   

We understand what we decide on or whether to take a desktop or laptop. If you are studying in college or going to the office where you have to take notes or give a presentation, then it is obvious that you will take a laptop. And if you do not want to make any changes for three-four years by buying a computer once, then you can also take a laptop.

Each component of the desktop can be changed more easily than a laptop. For example, suppose you bought a desktop today. After 1 year, your workload increased significantly. When you bought the laptop, your plan was only basic editing, but after  1 year you needed to run more powerful software in your desktop. So in this case, if your motherboard supports then you can upgrade the professor. At this time it was discovered that even if the motherboard is not a very expensive component but you take a desktop, then you should keep in mind that you have to stay in this desktop configuration or as the technology is upgraded, you will use the latest components in your view.

Even if there is a malfunction, we can repair the desktop more easily because it is also very easy to open. Its components are different, so very easily we can replace the bad component, while many times the component is soldered in the laptop, it is almost impossible to change it and even if that component can be changed, the same price is very high.

Friends, if you talk about the time now, if you have small children, then it will be better for them to buy a desktop. This is because young children such as Class One to  5:00  will not be able to handle laptops easily. There is also a risk of damage to the laptop while moving from here to there.  But you also have to see your situation, such as if you are living somewhere where electricity does not come continuously, then in that case if the children are studying online, then the laptop gives you power backup easily for  2 to 3 hours, then you will have to decide from you.
